Link, the hero of the story I suppose. even though he´s not much of a romance person.
Midna makes a joke in the game about being so beautyful that Link is not able to speak. Which is funny because link is Really not able to speak.(the gameplay is like that.. or maybe he´s a mute i dunno)

For this background I first made a layer all black.
on top of that I added a new layer where i used some brushes i downloaded from the internet, they look like brushstrokes( I don´t remember what they´re called.

After using the brush here and there( mostly improvising) I used the same brush as eraser some places.

The wheel like shape in the background at her feet is another kind of brush.
Download download i tell you. the internet holds many treasures.


IVé also hears that you can use textures for this kinda stuff, but I haven´t tried it.

Haha, I like that they make fun of him for that. A lot of heroes in rpgs don't talk since that's the person you're playing, but usually you're just supposed to imagine that he/she is talking XD Like in Pokemon.

yeah, i know but in zelda they´ve just made it typical for hylians(link´s race) that you can´t hear them speak.(But there are subtitles) Midna (who´s not hylian) on the other hand, has a voice actor( But she talk mostly blabberish and are also subtitled. Nintendo also add laugh, sighs and other voice related sounds to the characters( I think they overdid this In The Zelda TP game.)


The brushes come from everywhere, just google it. and quite alot of people have uploaded brushes on DA.
